About Me

Hi, I’m Anamul, a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, currently working in the SSBio Lab under Dr. Saha.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh, followed by a master’s degree in Biomedical Physics and Technology from the University of Dhaka. My academic background combines biology, mathematics, and computational science, with experience in metabolic modeling, machine learning, and advanced data analysis. At UNL, my research focuses on applying computational biology and data-driven modeling approaches to study microbial communities and complex plant and animal biological systems, with the goal of engineering these systems toward precision and translational applications. I am particularly interested in integrating metabolic networks, optimization methods, and statistical learning to better understand and design complex biological systems.

Outside of research, I enjoy playing chess and spending time thinking through challenging problems.
