About Me:

I’m Sadia, a PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, currently working in the SSBio Lab.

I completed my bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh. My academic background includes research and projects on low-cost wheelchair design, developing a smart-band for health data telemonitoring, and designing optical biosensors for early-stage cancer detection. My undergraduate thesis focused on EMG signal-based sleep data monitoring. After graduation, I worked as a medical data processor at Augmedix Bangladesh and contributed to the Saphnelo drug data project, earning the BEAST Award in recognition of my performance.

At UNL, my research focuses on applying computational biology to investigate complex biological systems and to advance human health.

In my pastimes, I like to sing, watch movies, or cook food for my family. Please feel free to reach out via LinkedIn.
